Rice Transplanter live
demonstration conducted in ARANI on 10.08.2008
Southern Agro Engine introduced and conducted
live demonstration of the new Rice Transplanter
in Mr. Shanmugam’s farm which is lying
on the Arani Polur Road. Mr. A.Valavan,
Marketing Manager presided over the function.
The new implement was introduced By the
Korean Engineer Mr. Kim.
They told the farmers that in foreign countries
using new technology and machineries and
with minimum expense and very less labour
the achieve very good yield. Like wise this
machine has introduced in Tamil Nadu to
get better yield.
This Korean made implement has hydraulic
facility for easy operation and can transplant
one acre of land with in two hours.
One acre of transplantation
requires only 10 kg of seed.
It can transplant 15
days old seedling.
This also has a water
pump to clean the machine.

To
enable the farmers use this implement the
Government has announced a subsidy of 50
% under N.A.D.P. scheme.Farmers can avail
this subsidy Through Agricultural Engineering
Department.
The
total cost of ploughing by Power tiller
and transplanting through this implement
cost only Rs. 2500.
